2023 Calvary Chapel St George Cookoff Rules
- Only one chili submission per participant/team
- A submission consists of one pint of chili for judging
- No store bought or restaurant prepared chili will be accepted
- We will use a 50 point scoring system based on the following 5 categories:
- Color – 10 points
- Aroma – 10 points
- Consistency – 10 points
- Taste – 10 points
- Aftertaste – 10 points
- Judging will be done anonymously
- In the event of a tie, the highest scoring submissions will enter a scoring run-off and re-judged
2023 Calvary Chapel St George Dessert Contest Rules
- Only one dessert submission per participant/team
- A submission consists of enough dessert for judging purposes (ie. 1 cookie/cup/slice per judge, there will be three judges)
- Premade box/can mixes and toppings are allowed as an ingredient/topping only
- We will use a 50 point scoring system based on the following 5 categories:
- Appearance – 10 points
- Texture – 10 points
- Taste – 10 points
- Consistency – 10 points
- Over-all impression – 10 points
- Judging will be done anonymously
- In the event of a tie, the tied submissions will enter a scoring run-off and re-judged
